    Farm Journal Names New Lead for Ag’s Most Popular Website

    Farm Journal announces Jennifer Richter has joined the company as vice president of AgWeb. Working as part of agriculture’s No. 1 website for industry information and market activity, she will provide strategic direction for the AgWeb platform as brand leader and will report to Christine Shaw, executive vice president of Crops for Farm Journal.

    “Jennifer brings vast experience in the digital space to AgWeb,” said Charlene Finck, president of Farm Journal. “From broadening content scope to improving functionality of the AgWeb platform, she will provide agriculture audiences with news and information that is important to them and their business.”

    Richter is an experienced digital product director that most recently led the digital media department at Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). There she directed digital marketing strategies for construction industry audiences for event brands such as CONEXPO-CON/AGG, The Utility Expo and World of Asphalt.

    Richter also led digital products for Trusted Media Brands, formerly Reader’s Digest, overseeing channels that generated more than 30 million unique monthly visits.

    While earning her bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a focus on marketing and international business, she established and led the International Business Student Association and studied international business in France. She later received her MBA from Marquette University with a focus on e-commerce.
