DTN Grain Close: Row Crops Fall on Higher Ending Stocks Estimates

December corn closed down 10 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 30 cents, pressured by higher-than-expected ending stocks estimates from USDA. All three U.S. wheats ended higher, helped by USDA’s bullish report adjustments.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

December corn closed down 10 1/2 cents and March corn was down 10 1/4 cents. November soybeans closed down 30 cents and March soybeans were down 29 1/2 cents. December KC wheat closed up 5 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 2 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 9 1/2 cents.

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.18 at 94.51. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 2.28 points at 34,498.34. December gold is up $4.20 at $1,759.90, December silver is down $0.12 at $22.55 and December copper is down $0.0325. November crude oil is down $0.01 at $80.51, November heating oil is down $0.0039, November RBOB gasoline is up $0.0041 and November natural gas is up $0.113.
