DTN Grain Close: Markets Mixed, Finish Week Higher

December corn was up 3 cents Friday and November soybeans were down 3 cents with scattered showers continuing to fall across the northern Midwest. Winter wheat contracts were a little lower Friday but secured modest gains for the week.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

September corn closed up 5 1/4 cents and December corn was up 3 cents. September soybeans closed down 8 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 3 cents. December KC wheat closed down 4 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 6 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 6 1/4 cents.

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.37 at 92.71. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 237.84 points at 35,450.96. August gold is up $24.70 at $1,819.90, September silver is up $0.50 at $24.05 and September copper is up $0.0610. October crude oil is up $1.31 at $68.73, October heating oil is up $0.0237, October RBOB gasoline is up $0.0244 and October natural gas is up $0.171.
