Alabama Extension entomologist Dr. Katelyn Kesheimer and Eddie McGriff examine a corn field that was decimated by stinkbugs. We’ll discuss scouting for stinkbugs in corn, the damage they do, and their control on On The Farm in Alabama. While it is too late to spray in many fields, this YouTube video is a precaution on the damage stinkbugs can do in corn and how corn acts as a refuge for them to move to other crops (cotton and soybeans) when the corn dries down.
