DTN Grain Close: Corn, Wheat March Higher With Most Commodities

July contracts of corn and all three wheats closed higher Wednesday with ongoing support from dry conditions in central Brazil and the northwestern U.S. Plains. July soybean oil posted a slight loss, one of the few on the commodity board early Wednesday afternoon.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

July corn closed up 11 3/4 cents and December corn was up 24 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed up 4 cents and November soybeans were up 19 1/2 cents. July KC wheat closed up 17 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 17 3/4 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was up 13 3/4 cents.

The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.03 at 91.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 165.32 points at 34,298.35. June gold is up $8.30 at $1,784.30, July silver is up $0.01 at $26.57 and July copper is up $0.0030. June crude oil is up $0.02 at $65.71, June heating oil is up $0.0061, June RBOB gasoline is up $0.0016 and June natural gas is down $0.029.
