Oklahoma Pecan Prices: Deliveries Light Despite Moderate Demand

Pecan harvest was fairly light, and is expected to increase during the upcoming weeks in December. Deliveries by growers to buying points are light. Demand was moderate for good quality pecans. Gift box and retail trade continue to look out of state for supplies.

The weather forecast this week calls for high temperatures from the mid-30s to low 60s and low temperatures from the low 20s to low 40s. There is a chance of precipitation every day this week, peaking on Wednesday, December 2 when there is a 60-80 percent chance of precipitation.

Prices paid to growers (from noon Tuesday, November 24, 2020 through noon Tuesday, December 1, 2020) at buyers delivery point or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound, in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
