Louisiana Pecan Prices: Deliveries Remain Light

Weather for the week has evening lows in the high 60s cooling down to the mid-40s by the weekend and daytime highs in the low 80s and cooling down to the low 70s by early next week. There is a 7-15 percent chance of rain during the week. Some growers have lost trees because of the hurricanes and storms that came through recently and many are reporting no crop for this year because of weather and growing conditions.

Prices paid to growers (late afternoon Tuesday, November 3, 2020 through late afternoon Tuesday, November 10, 2020) at buyers delivery point or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
