    Georgia Cotton Commission – How Is It Helping Growers? – Podcast

    In 2019, the state of Georgia grew 1.4 million acres of cotton averaging 953 pounds of cotton per acre, according to the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. Cotton is important to Georgia cotton growers; therefore, the goal every year is to produce high quality cotton.

    This video podcast episode features Taylor Sills, Georgia Cotton Commission Executive Director, he will answer a few question pertaining to cotton in Georgia. Mr. Sills replaced Richie Seaton, former Executive Director of GA Cotton Commission, on August 1st.
