DTN Grain Close: Markets Surge Higher on Dry Forecast

New-crop contracts of corn, soybeans and all three U.S. wheats closed higher Thursday, boosted by a forecast for drier weather for at least the next 10 days. Other commodities were also mostly higher, helped by slightly lower trading in the U.S. dollar index and lower-than-expected weekly U.S. jobless claims.
