Grains Higher, Surprised By Low Planting Estimates

On a day when the commodity board was mostly green, new-crop contracts of corn, soybeans and all three wheats closed higher, helped by lower-than-expected planting estimates from USDA. A drier weather forecast is also helping row-crop prices and gaining attention this week.
