The annual Almond Conference (TAC) will return to Cal Expo this December. The decision came after the Almond Board of California (ABC), host of the conference, was alerted by the City of Sacramento of construction delays at the Sacramento Convention Center.

These delays would likely result in the facility not being open in time for the conference, according to an ABC press release.

The convention dates, December 8-10, 2020, will remain the same.

Following TAC 2018, the City of Sacramento began a large-scale remodeling and expansion of the Sacramento Convention Center, which had been home to The Almond Conference since 2012. As a result, the Almond Board and its conference planning team, Mosaic Event Management, chose to host TAC 2019 at Cal Expo in Sacramento.

As ABC noted in the release, the 2019 conference drew the highest number of attendees and number of exhibitors in the event’s history.
