Oklahoma Pecan Prices: Moderate Deliveries as Season Winds Down

The pecan harvest in Oklahoma is fairly active. Deliveries by growers to buying points are moderate. Demand was good for good quality pecans. The pecan season in Oklahoma is starting to wind down, as some harvesters are finishing for the season.

The weather forecast this week calls for high temperatures from the mid-30s to the mid-60s and low temperatures from the upper 20s to the low 50s. There is a 60-90 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday, January 22, a 10-40 percent chance of precipitation on Sunday, January 26, and a 0-20 percent chance of precipitation the rest of the week.

Prices paid to growers (from noon Tuesday, January 14, 2020 through noon Tuesday, January 21, 2020) at buyers delivery point or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound, in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
