Oklahoma Pecan Prices: Stable with Good Demand

Pecan harvest has been active, and is expected to remain so during the upcoming week. Deliveries by growers to buying points are moderate. Demand was good for good quality pecans. Prices remain generally unchanged.

The weather forecast this week calls for high temperatures from the mid-30s to the low 70s and low temperatures from the low 20s to the upper 50s. There is a chance of precipitation every day from Thursday, January 9 through Tuesday, January 14 this week, with chances of precipitation as high as 80 percent on Friday, January 10.

Prices paid to growers (from noon Tuesday, December 17, 2019 through noon Tuesday, January 7, 2020) at buyers delivery point or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound, in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
