Livestock markets took advantage of most of the marketplace having the day off and rallied with success in all three contracts.
Mondays aren’t so bad when all three livestock contracts can close mostly higher. Hog prices are down on the National Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $0.19 with a weighted average of $42.72.
December corn is down 4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $4.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 10.25 points and NASDAQ is down 11.03 points.
