The annual Wheatheart Wheat Field Day, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Ochiltree, Lipscomb and Hansford counties, will be May 21.
There will be no charge. Interested producers will need to gather at 10:30 a.m. at the Noon Vela farm 4 miles west of state Highway 70 and 1 mile north of Farm-to-Market Road 759 on County Road 11.

Speakers will include Dr. Ken Obasa, plant pathologist; Dr. Ed Bynum, entomologist; and Dr. Jourdan Bell, agronomist, all from Amarillo; and Dr. Clark Neely, state agronomist, College Station.
Lunch will be provided by Equity Exchange and Texas Wheat Producers at the field.
