About the Presenter: Terry Harris is Senior Vice President in Charge of Operations for Riceland Foods Inc., a farmer owned cooperative headquartered in Stuttgart, Arkansas and serving farmer members in Arkansas, Missouri, and Northern Louisiana. He has 43 years’ experience in the rice industry, all with Riceland. He has served in a number of capacities throughout his career with Riceland including quality control, production, and sales.
From 1981 to 2010 he managed the majority of export rice sales for the cooperative, in 2010 he was given responsibility for all rice sales of the company and in 2018 moved to the Operations area where he is now responsible for Rice Milling, Soy Processing, the Riceland Drier network, management of Riceland’s partnerships, and also responsible for commodity risk management.
He serves on the boards of the USA Rice Millers Association, USA Rice Federation, USA Rice Foundation, and USA Rice Council.
