Barchart, a leading provider of commodity data and workflow solutions, has announced the launch of cmdtyExchange, a new event to highlight the data, tools and technology driving innovation in commodity markets. The event, taking place May 8-10, 2019, will feature commodity market experts providing insights on the changing landscape of today’s agricultural industry.
In addition to captivating onstage discussions, panels, and perspectives from the hottest startups in AgTech, the program will offer attendees multiple networking opportunities to connect, build, and grow relationships across the agricultural industry. Geared towards individuals and firms participating in the physical commodity space, cmdtyExchange will be attended by grain buyers, processors, traders, exchanges, merchandisers, brokers, technology providers, hedge funds, the media and more.
“Data and technology are impacting the commodity markets like never before and cmdtyExchange will showcase these developments, while connecting individuals across the ecosystem,” says Barchart CEO Mark Haraburda. “Barchart has been at the center of the commodities industry for years, and we’re excited to help bring the community together even more.”
The three day agenda features an opening night networking reception, a full day of programming with onstage panels, presentations, and networking opportunities at lunch, in the exhibit hall, and at the cocktail reception. Featured panels will cover emerging agriculture data, electronification of physical grain trading, the future of ag freight, and onstage presentations from four of the hottest AgTech startups. The final day includes an exclusive invite-only session where attendees can receive an in-depth look at the data, analytics and tools behind Barchart’s cmdty product line.
