An upcoming webinar on Tuesday, February 19 “Making Your 2019 Crop Insurance Decisions” will be hosted by Purdue’s Center for Commercial Agriculture. The webinar will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at about 2 p.m. (EST).
During the webinar, Michael Langemeier and James Mintert, ag economists at Purdue University, will discuss the key issues facing crop producers making 2019 crop insurance decisions. Included will be estimated costs for the RP and ARP insurance products, use of enterprise units, and coverage levels to consider, all designed to help you make an informed decision regarding your 2019 crop insurance choices. During the webinar they will also review projections for the relative profitability of 2019 corn and soybean production in the Eastern Corn Belt.
