A Rolling Plains Applicator Training will be conducted Jan. 22 by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Wichita County at the Wichita County Precinct 2 Shop, 102 W. College, Burkburnett.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The fee is $30 and covers lunch.
Five Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units – two general and one each in integrated pest management, laws and regulations, and drift minimization – will be offered for private, commercial and non-commercial pesticide applicator license holders.

- Texas Department of Agriculture Laws and Regulations – Worker and Environmental Safety, Amanda Fowler, Texas Department of Transportation, Austin.
- Right-of-Way Weed Management, Herbicide Selection, and Annual Planning, Dennis Markwardt, Texas Department of Transportation, Pflugerville.
- Herbicide Application–Trees, Shrubs and Preventing Conflict, Markwardt.
- Minimizing Drift and Maximizing Chemical Investment, Mack Bostick, WinField United, College Station.
- Wild Hog Damage and Integrated Pest Management Methods, Adam Henry, U.S. Department of Agriculture Wildlife Services, Fort Worth.
- Evaluation/Discussion of needs for 2019, Graf.
The program will end by 2:45 p.m. All sessions must be attended to earn CEUs, Graf said.
