Cotton Specialist Seth Byrd will host the first of hopefully many Oklahoma State University Cotton Webinars. The location will be at the OSU Southwest Research and Extension Center at Altus on January 16, starting at 11 a.m.

Producers will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with producers, industry reps and consultants from across Oklahoma. Support is provided by The Cotton Board and the Oklahoma Cotton Council.

For those who cannot attend the on-site meeting, link to the webinar by clicking here.

Byrd states: “This is going to be our first ever attempt at a cotton webinar and the goal is just to hopefully bring everybody involved in the Oklahoma cotton industry together. As the acreage increases and becomes more spread out, I’m hoping that this webinar will serve as a gathering place where information can be exchanged and questions asked regarding current topics facing cotton production in our state.  I’m also hope that this will increase interaction between producers in different areas of our state and strengthen the network in Oklahoma as we move forward.”
