An information conference for farmers affected by Hurricane Michael is set for Monday, October 22, starting at 2 p.m. at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center. The center is located at 15 RDC Road in Tifton.
Information will be available on disaster programs and has been organized by USDA’s Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Rural Development agency and its Risk Management Agency, as well as Southwest Georgia Farm Credit.
Representatives from those groups will be on-site to provide updates and information regarding disaster programs that are available to producers affected by Hurricane Michael.
