Oklahoma Pecans: Good Demand, Active Deliveries

Deliveries by growers moderate to fairly active in southern counties, light in northern Oklahoma. Pecan harvesting is complete but many growers and accumulators still have pecans in the barn. Demand was good statewide. Many out-of-state buyers have closed for the year. Sheller demand mostly moderate.

The weather forecast this week calling for highs in low 60s to mid- 30s and lows in low 20s to mid-40s.

Prices paid to growers (noon Tuesday, January 09, 2017 to noon Tuesday, January 16, 2018) at buyers delivery points or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound, in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
