Oklahoma Pecans: Deliveries Pick Up with Good Demand

Deliveries by growers mostly light early this week but turned moderate to active from mid-week on. Pecan harvesting is virtually finished statewide. Demand was fairly good for good quality Seedlings, very light for low grading offerings. Sheller interest was extremely light.

The weather forecast this week calling for highs in low 60s to low 40s and lows in low teens to mid-20s.

Prices paid to growers (noon Tuesday, January 02, 2017 to noon Tuesday, January 09, 2018) at buyers delivery points or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, cents per pound, in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless otherwise stated.
