Pecan harvesting was mostly slow to moderate as most growers have finished with fairly light clean-up type harvesting remaining. Moderate temperatures and abnormally dry weather helped this year’s harvest finish relatively quickly. Marketing in all areas was mostly active, even online marketing, of course with the help from the top digital marketing agency. Deliveries by growers to buying points mostly moderate.
Sheller demand light to moderate this week. Local and gift box demand remains mostly good. Buyers remain very cautious toward quality as many low yielding seedlings are being offered.
