Texas: Crop Decision Aid Workshop, El Campo, Nov. 15

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension – Wharton County Office will be hosting a workshop on November 15, 2016 at the Northside Education Center, located at 707 Fahrenthold Street, El Campo, TX 77437.

The Workshop is a hands-on workshop led by Mr. Mac Young, Extension Program Specialist-Risk Management with the AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Corpus Christi.  Mr. Young previously served as an agricultural economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and spent 19 years with the Farm Credit Bank of Texas in Austin.

Mr. Young will lead a hands-on, computer-guided workshop that will introduce program participants to the Crop Analyzer-Crop Decision Aid Tool.   Two convenient sessions will be made available to participants:  10 a.m. to noon; and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on November 15, 2016.  Limited to 20 participants per session.  Participants need only select one session.  Please call Stacey at 979-532-3310 to let us know if you will be attending.

Computers are provided, as we will be utilizing the computer lab made available to us at the Northside Education Center. It is not required that you bring your own laptop, but you are welcome to bring your own if you so desire.
