The Ag Market Network will host a free cotton market teleconference on Tuesday, September 13, at 7:30 a.m. CDT. The network’s panel of industry observers will discuss global cotton production, crop conditions, domestic demand, exports and government policy.
Guest speaker will be John Robinson, an ag economist and Extension specialist in cotton marketing at Texas A & M University. He will review the latest USDA crop report, as well as comment on how farmers can take advantage of these volatile markets.
Joining Robinson will be the network’s marketing panel, which includes O. A. Cleveland, Professor Emeritus at Mississippi State University, H.W. “Kip” Butts, Senior Cotton Analyst with Informa Economics, Jarral Neeper, president, Calcot, Ltd. and Patrick McClatchy, executive director, Ag Market Network.
