Grains: Farmers Holding Surprising Amount Of Grain Globally – Bunge – AgFax

Farmers are holding onto plenty of grain, not just in the U.S. but globally, and Bunge expects a sharp increase in farmer selling after the first of the year, according to an account today on agrimoney.com.

Soren Schroder, Bunge’s CEO, said the amount of grain still being held by growers was surprisingly large.

If nothing else, farmers would need to sell grain to have capital on hand for the new crop, he pointed out.
