AgFax.Com: Our Southern Audience

Our web site’s community is composed primarily of people in states that produce cotton and other Southern crops, as the pie chart below indicates. The chart represents a snapshot of 4,000 consecutive visitors (in early April 2008) who opened at least one page on our site that carried a java-script tracking connection to SiteMeter.

Out of this group of 4,000 visitors, 237 either were located outside the U.S. or SiteMeter listed the country of origin as unknown.

Of the remaining 3,763 that SiteMeter tracked, web sessions from Sunbelt states accounted for 65.8% of the traffic (2,477 visits), while other states accounted for 34.2% (1,286) of the remaining U.S. traffic. A breakdown of the Sunbelt traffic can be found in the table on the right.
