California Cotton: 2017 Sticky Cotton Summit, Freson, March 21
Prevention of sticky cotton in California’s San Joaquin Valley remains a concern, and it will be the focus at the 2017 California Sticky Cotton Summit on Tuesday, March 21. The conference will be held at the Vintage Room in the University Center on the Fresno State campus (5241 N. Maple Avenue, Fresno).
Registration and a continental breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m., with the program kicking off at 9 a.m. The event includes a lunch starting at 1 p.m.
The program includes several industry panel discussions as well as updates on current research and technology related to San Joaquin Valley’s battle with sticky cotton. Panels will include researchers, PCAs, ginners and mill personnel.
Conference organizers encourage pre-registration to receive parking permit numbers, which will be sent to attendees a week ahead of the event.
