    DTN Livestock Close: Futures Move Significantly Higher

    Live cattle, feeder cattle and lean hog futures closed triple-digits higher Thursday.

     GENERAL COMMENTS:

    According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base closed $0.67 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($112.00 to $123.50, weighted average $119.83). Corn futures closed higher, up 9 in the July, up 8 3/4 in the September and up 8 in the December.
