Corn and soybean prices finished mixed Friday on light volume while prospects for planting remain favorable. Minneapolis wheat led wheat prices lower after Statistics Canada showed improvement in Canada’s wheat exports for March.
DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/29 13:49 Grains Settle Lower Ahead Of Three-Day Weekend All three grains closed lower Friday as bearish expectations for record harvests of U.S. corn and soybeans as well as record world wheat production continue to keep a lid on grain prices. The only exceptions among new-crop contracts were December soybean meal and oats, both with slight gains on the day.
